0160 Measures to Prevent Adhesion of Fine Carbon Dust

Solving challenges in powder handling plants! Introducing case studies on measures against the adhesion of fine coal due to moisture.

To prevent adhesion at the vertical chute above the rotary valve, a standard type of blow disk has been installed. This is a measure against adhesion caused by moisture. Our bridge breakers for powder and granular materials are used in various industries for addressing bridging in silo rat holes, hoppers, residuals in various storage tanks, and adhesion issues, and we can share a wealth of past experiences. 【Usage Conditions】 ■ Type of powder/granular material: Fine coal ■ Particle size: Generally 3mm or less ■ Conveying capacity: Several tons/hr ■ Chute: 300□ *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us. *Our website features numerous case studies, which can be accessed via the link below.

0466 Measures to Prevent Adhesion of Titanium Dioxide

This is an introduction to the examples of implementation that have been adopted due to the highly favorable evaluation of the machine's effectiveness!

The device was adopted for measures against the strong adhesion of titanium oxide. The customer was using cloth for aeration, but due to its short lifespan, they contacted us to consider our Brodisk. After discussing the model and layout, we lent them the Brodisk Mini for testing. Although there was some expected effectiveness, it was determined that increasing the number of units would be better, so we added to the number of units lent. As a result, the effectiveness of the device was evaluated as very good, and they have adopted it. A considerable amount of time has passed since its adoption, but there has been no particular degradation of the device, and it is operating smoothly. 【Product Specifications】 ■ Brodisk Mini BD-08S-B, multiple units *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

0507 Measures for Preventing Adhesion of Chemical Substances

We will promptly respond to your request for lending this equipment and providing sample pieces to confirm the effectiveness!

Here is a case study of our adoption by a chemical manufacturer. "We experienced significant adhesion of flake-like material on the interior surface of the hopper, and despite installing numerous buff finishes and knockers, it was unsuccessful," they contacted us. The customer's requests were twofold: to borrow the equipment for effectiveness verification and to provide sample pieces for evaluating the resistance of the equipment's elastic disk (silicone disk). We responded promptly to the above requests, and after the customer conducted confirmation tests, they determined it to be effective and adopted our solution. [Case Overview] - Hopper Diameter: φ800 - Discharge Diameter: φ300 - Target Material: Chemical products, flake ground products, approximately 50-200μm *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

0626 Measures to prevent the adhesion of aluminum hydroxide

Air ON with 8 Brodisks in pairs with a time difference! Introducing a case study that solved the user's challenges.

We would like to introduce a case where we were consulted about wanting to solve a problem using a Brodie disk due to strong adhesion and the potential for rat holes. The material appears to have stronger adhesion than typical aluminum hydroxide. Therefore, we decided to install a slightly larger number of Brodie disks (BD-15 type), totaling 8, for the φ1200 hopper. The arrangement of these 8 disks consists of 2 in the lower section, 2 in the middle section, and 4 in the upper section. The control system uses a controller (C-SV4) with 4 solenoid valves to activate the 8 Brodie disks in pairs with a time delay. [Overview of Usage Conditions (Partial)] ■ Hopper Diameter: φ1200 ■ Discharge Diameter: 150A ■ Material Name: Aluminum Hydroxide *Detailed information about the case can be viewed through the related links. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
